I ate a local dish in Yamagata Prefecture at Tokyo. Brown noodles are called soba noodle. On the right of the photo is a ”imoni”. It is a soup with various types of vegetables including taros. It was delicious. I like that.

Do you know "Tatami"? Tatami are straw mats which cover the floor of Japanese rooms. They are usually rectangular in shape and are made of tightly woven rush grass with the edges hemmed with cloth. The robot vacuum cleaner which I bought in the USA is cleaning on the Tatami.
